My name is Wesley Bandemer, I had been riding dirtbikes for 6 years. I raced pretty much every weekend for a year. I never had any major injures, but on June 10th 2006 during the Top Dog Shootout at Rivers Edge motocross park, in the second moto, I crashed. I was instantly paralyzed from the neck down. I shattered my C4 vertebrae leaving me a C3-C7 quadriplegic. Before the accident I tried to be the best athlete I could be and live as active as I could... now things are the complete opposite... I'm trying to do whatever I can to get even just a taste of my old life back andI will continue until I'm satisfied... I am raising money to help fund a 3 month trip to New Delhi, India for embryonic stem cell injections at Nu Tech Mediworld in hope of regaining movement and sensation. My goal is to raise $60,000 tofully pay for everything. Thank you for your support.
